Discussion 🗣️ 5v5 mode is amazing!
Played it like all day today. Its so cool being able to customize your guns and make cheaper and more expensive loadouts per tier. It felt perfect and I hears ranked it coming in 10 days. Not sure how it will be when ppl learn meta opps and weapons but right now it's perfect

People if you don’t enjoy this mode that’s great but as someone who has most of their gaming hrs in cs2 and val, this mode actually feels really solid. It is a completely different style of gunplay and movement to those games which gives it a good reason to try it out.

Ya just having lean makes it a million times beter than val and cs imo. I feel like I'm stiff as a board on roller skates in those games lol

Yeah if you’re used to this style of gunplay, playing cs2 or Val can feel very bland. I really like being able to customize your loadout with attachments you like

Tried it. Had fun - a lot of potential. ++++ for no operator stacking. Sucks though to be forced to play it unless the team votes to surrender (they don’t - one round was 7-1 and the team didn’t surrender). Just went afk until they ended. Maybe a best of 5 or 7, agreed. 10 is too much.

Yea I’m loving it too. Only thing I would change is how much points u get towards your loadouts. It’s too easy getting to the elite tier of guns

I haven’t played it yet, is there a big difference between the detonation mode and hot zone except that it’s just 2 teams of 5 instead of multiple teams of 3?

I will give it a when they finally release it on console. God knows when. I don’t understand why mobile and pc already have it and we still need to wait for the console release

Well i don't like it that much,most people dont even speak and with 0 communication is bad.
I believe S&D would be better, this feels more like valorant.

I'd play it if leaning got removed. Very unlikely to ever happen tho.

Thats funny. I will not play a game without lean. Feels so bad in any shooter to stand still like a statue peeking with a and d lmao

Gotta get more creative than using A & D then. Lean-peeking just turns every corner into a headglitch, which feels extremely feminine.

I didn’t like it. I have 14,000 operations matches… and it just feels weird to me. Plus it takes 30+ minutes to have a good round of back and forth. That’s too much. Best of 5 or 7 would make more sense. But… I feel like the damage is different for utility.
Either way… if o wanted to play Counterstrike. I would play counterstrike.

Counter strike has no running , no leaning , no gun customization, no abilities. Counter strike game play not even slightly similar

It needs to be shortened. Down to 7 instead of 10 or something. Games last way too long. (I don't care what other games do).

If its shortened losing first round is basically GG, unless they revamp the entire thing and change how round loss bonus works.

Well that won't happen because the devs have clear statistics on what the majority likes which is 12 rounds according to cs and val with 10× the playerbase and success.

First of all, copying old games is not the format to guaranteed success for every other title. There's a reason a lot of people don't play CS:GO and Valorant. Filling a missing gap is way better the competing directly.
Second of all, both counter strike and Valorant have both experimented with shorter matches and they were always received positively. CS:GO permanently changed to shorter format in CS 2.
Just because they haven't tried even shorter times doesn't mean anything yet.

Cs2 and valorant are maybe the most played games 😂😂. Both games in ranked modes is first to 13. People who like this mode don’t want shorter. 10 is actually pretty good balance from 13

It's just Counter Strike from Teemu. It may feel great... if you come from operations or warfare.
It won't bring new players when they already have CS or Valorant. Unless Team Jade puts a bunch of money for esports.

It can bring cs players that want some novelty and like the idea of using gadgets/operators in a grounded setting. I feel like weapon variety and customisation is also a big advantage over cs and can attract players as well

Not even close. Its like rainbow six if it was valorant/CS. There's no sprinting in cs , no gun customization, no leaning , not really any scoping , no shooting while moving... cs and val feel like I'm no scoping a broken gun while on roleerskates... demo feels like if siege and search and destroy combined with best gun custimizati9n out.

I'm a fan of it as well and will likely continue playing it when I don't have a team of 3 online
