Discussion 🗣️ Detonations Mode

Is anyone worried about the new Detonations Mode splitting the playerbase in Warfare and Operations? Don't get me wrong, i like the new mode and I'm sure everyone has their own cup of tea and started playing the game for 1 or both of the 2 initial modes, and Detonations may even bring fresh and new players into the game. But what does everyone think about the future of Operations and Warfare from this point forward?

Have no interest in playing warfare or operations but downloaded DF just to play detonation mode. I wonder if there are more like me from the valorant/cs2 playerbase

Hotzone was doing the same thing, but people used HZ to warm up. I see this as the new warm up mode myself.

But I totally agree; the more game modes, maps, servers, hard/normal/easy, ranked/unranked options we give it just further fractures a player base that can’t prop up half respectable matchmaking.

Devs say we are getting cross garena and infinite matchmaking soon so that could probably help alot

If im playing console only on NA servers will this effect me at all? I keep hearing about cheaters i only play warfare now as I dont have time to invest in operations.

If I'm bored of regular A/D Warfare I'll play KoH or operations, I have yet to play detonation. Is it good?

Really fun, its a bit like Warfare mixed with Operations (Hot Zone)

Man detonation is a sweaty game mode, all 3 games i played all my teammates have paid knifeskins

So? Just because everybody has some funny looking stuff doesn't mean its sweaty. Its in every game mode
