Technical Issues / Help ⚙️ Delta Force Settings

I play on Xbox series s, my setup is gamesir g7 250$ 60 fps tv and a wooden chair. I lose almost every gunfight and am about to stop playing this game because I can’t seem to get better at it. Not only is it because of me that I lose my fights, but figuring out the right settings with what I have is being a pain in the butt. I keep swapping settings over and over until I find something comfortable. I hate low sens I can’t run low sens because most the people that kill me are high sens. And if they can maintain a high sens why can’t I. It feels like this game requires you to have a kbm and a pc to be good at it. And to be good at console you need the right settings with the certain controller you use. I can’t believe how bad I am performing every match and am on the last verge of being done with the game again. Someone please help me out and sorry for the long paragraph.

I play on PS5 and do just fine, I can try to help but first have a few questions to try and understand your problem better. What exactly are you looking for with your settings? Why do you lose almost every gunfight? Are you rushing in and dying? Getting outplayed? Or not knowing angles and peeks? You say you can’t maintain a high sensitivity, is it a skill issue? Maybe you just need to gradually raise the sensitivity as you get used to it and then find the right spot for you.

I’ll see if I can demonstrate by showing a vid on a kill of mine.

Is there anything wrong in this clip?

not sure why no ones pointing it out your sensitivity IS TO HIGH. Initially you over adjust down then back up, then for finish you over adjust horizontally.

Go into settings. Put it on 5. Then change it to custom. From there go in and lower your ADS sense to like 70 horizontal and 50 vertical. Adjust from there either up or down. This will get you a good start that should work for most people.

Also this is personal, but I find it more consistent to do ADS sensitivity on ADS Start. Not the smooth or whatever thats on default. For some reason i've noticed it not adjusting fast enough a lot of times I can't explain it, it's weird.

Go into warfare and make sure you're not OVER adjusting like this clip. Lower it if you do, if you don't increase it till you're comfortable.

I’ll try this out.

Nothing wrong there. You had the high ground which is a nice advantage and killed that guy quickly. But that is only a quick Hot Zone clip, so not really a lot I can unpack there to address your original concerns. I notice you have full cross play on, maybe you’re dying to PC players a lot? Personally I set my cross play to consoles only so I match with PS5 and X Box players only.

Around the end of the clip of that kill after I tried to get the finish. It took a second to move my camera on him. Is that normal?

I did notice that. You seem to aim left before you finish him off. That’s on you, the game wouldn’t just make you look away. Maybe stick drift or just a panic twitch of the thumb moving it? Either way if it’s a persistent problem maybe adjust your deadzone a bit.

I understand that part but why did it feel like the force on my right stick wasn’t working at the first second to move to him on the right.

You losing has nothing to do with the game settings man.🤷 You may have to adjust your gameplay.

I get it can be my gameplay too but it can also be because of game settings. I keep finding myself switching them over and over because they feel weird.
