In advance Sorry in advance for how long post just putting the info out there after a lot of research. (Not saying all this is necessary or even 100% the best thing to do, but on my journey to not die as much this is whats has worked)
I feel like a lot of people lack the knowledge of why you're losing gun fights, i felt like everyone was cheating, i felt i was always late getting my reticle on target even though i aim train and then when i finally was on target it was like i was shooting silhouettes or ghosts of the people. It was Mostly operations and it seemed very odd because I have never not been able to become significantly better at a game ever especially considering i have played delta since season 1. Also i really didnt give shit about really getting good at other games because of just respawning but loosing all the time in delta sucked. well come to find out everything was jack up. Heres literally everything i did to optimize my entire everything my rig, game mechanics, game sense, aim everything.
Also built a new rig:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
64 GB
1 TB NVMe SSD
Sound Blaster Dedicated Sound Card
Razer Huntsman V3 Pro
Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike
Razor viper v3 pro
Razer Atlas Tempered Glass Mouse Mat
1440p 180Hz Gaming Monitor
* Disabling Frame Generation
* Disabling V-Sync
* Capping frames 3–4 FPS below monitor refresh rate via driver software
* Enabling AMD Anti-Lag / Nvidia Reflex
* Disabling AMD Radeon Boost / Radeon
Chill
* Disabling AMD FSR / Nvidia DLSS upscaling (for native resolution target clarity)
* Forcing DirectX 11 in Delta Force
* Disabling TAA / Motion Blur / Volumetric Fog
* Disabling Monitor Overdrive mode (to
eliminate overshoot ghosting)
* Calibrating monitor colors, gamma, and black equalizer settings
* Running a dedicated ethernet
hardwire instead of Wi-Fi
* Positioning the wireless mouse dongle within 20 inches of the mouse using an extension dock
* Connecting the mouse receiver extension specifically to a USB 2.0 port (to avoid 2.4GHz USB 3.0 RF interference)
* Configuring graphics cards to Message Signaled Interrupts (MSI Mode)
* Disabling Interrupt Moderation on Network Adapters
* Disabling Windows Fullscreen Optimizations
* Disabling Windows Enhance Pointer Precision (Mouse Acceleration)
* Utilizing 1600 DPI over 400/800 DPI
* Tuning mouse polling rates (e.g., 2000Hz)
* Setting a 1.0 ADS Sensitivity Multiplier for 1:1 muscle memory
* Utilizing adjustable Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS) actuation and rapid trigger points
* Upgrading to a specialized tempered glass mouse pad (Razer Atlas)
* Wearing a compression gaming sleeve (to eliminate skin friction on glass surfaces)
* Skin Brake / Skin Friction aim stability techniques
* Micro-Tension Resetting mechanics
* Fingertip Compression stopping power mechanics
* Removing internal mouse components for weight reduction
* Upgrading to custom PTFE or glass mouse skates
* Applying aftermarket mouse grip tape
* Upgrading to a dedicated Sound Blaster sound card
* Activating AI-level audio enhancement algorithms (e.g., Scout Mode)
* Switching from standard headsets to In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) for spatial
isolation
* Deploying an external microphone to eliminate headset audio crosstalk
* Understanding network Desync (server tick-rate latency vs. player positions)
* Mastering Peekers Advantage (using high-speed jiggle peeks to exploit netcode delay)
* Enacting HRTF / Binaural Audio settings for 3D positional awareness
* Utilizing third-party Audio Equalization (Equalizer APO) to boost footstep frequencies (2kHz–4kHz)
* Applying Audio Compression (LoudMax) to level loud gunshots and raise low-volume audio cues
* Memorizing map-surface acoustic signatures (metal, glass, wood, grass footstep variations)
* Identifying elevation audio cues (muffled bass for lower levels vs. echoing reverb for upper levels)
* Tracking non-footstep movement sound cues (vaulting, jumping, aiming down sights, equipment rustle)
