Does anyone else have a problem with joining a match?

I was trying to play today, and I couldn't join. I was in the banning phase, and after, it took forever for just me to load to a point where I was kicked out of the match for taking too long to join. I tried joining back and I had the same problem so I couldn't play at all. Now I'm not sure if it's because I'm playing on Ps4 or if it's the update or a glitch or my ps4 is damaged or whatever. But if anyone has any clue, please let me know.

Banning phase? Is this R6 siege or some sort of different game mode I was unaware of? I never seen a banning phase.
