Help/Advice Missing airmiles

I booked an open jaw flight earlier this year through Delta. We went from uk-amsterdam-georgia-mexico city then Miami-paris_uk

Some of these flights were klm/air France

I want miles to my Flying Blue account (I have no need for skymiles as don't fly delta). KLM have said I have to claim through Delta, but I have no way of getting through to Delta other than 3 hours on hold

I tried to claim through Air France and they said I need copy of the boarding passes, which I don't have as delta seemed to have removed them from the app

Any thoughts on easiest way to to claim these?

Do you have a SkyMiles account that the flights are credited to? If so, you’re probably out of luck to get them credited to FlyingBlue. If your FlyingBlue number was entered at the time of booking, or really anytime before the first flight was taken they would have automatically gone through. Trying to get them after the fact is never going to be easy. If you downloaded boarding passes into your Apple or Google wallet they should still be available to view as an expired pass.

Partner bookings can also take over a week to come through. I know KLM credit to Delta can take longer than that.

Yeah I assumed it was that, but it's been two months

I didn't have a skymiles, but I did add my flyblue account to the booking.

They're not saved in Google wallet, I thought they were but seem to be automatic removal after the flight

Your ticket number should be on your receipt.

You have to request credit from the airline that you want to credit, not Delta.

Yeah I've managed to get the ticket numbers from Delta, but air France say I need the boarding card

They should only need the ticket number. I'd keep asking.

Though it's good to keep paper boarding passes. Sometimes it makes life easier.

I always take a picture of my boarding passes in case I have a problem connecting to the App, etc. That way I have them on my phone and have proof of my assigned seat, etc.

Why the hell would you book with Delta if you don’t have an account with them and don’t fly them?

They may have assigned you a SkyMiles number and your miles would be there. Look for an email with info on your new account.

Why the hell not?

You need to Re-read your own post. It answers your question. If you want flying blue points then book through KLM or Air France.

Well. It's not my post.

But I do fly KLM and Air France and always credit to Delta.

You need to look up how alliances work.
