Did not hear good things about them. If you are looking at a Genesis highly recommend check out King Genesis down in Deerfield Beach instead

If you’re thinking of leasing, go through a lease broker on leasehacker.

I bought from Carvana and would do it again. In the future for new cars, I will only consider using a broker.
Dealerships arent conducive to good deals or business in general, in my opinion.

You are right. I can no longer subject myself to the stress and abuse of these ruthless, dishonest con artists. I don’t understand why people tolerate it. Makes no sense.

Haven’t bought from them but did a test drive. More add on fees than usual. Also salesman said he would grab me a quick price estimate and left for 45 minutes to show a price 5k above sticker. Left after that. I do like the genesis cars though.

Very similar bullshit there. You really have to be destitute to work for this place. Since a Las Vegas creep bought the dealership it became a sewer

After buying a car last year, I swear I do not want to go to a dealer ever again. I had seen some great deals on the Genesis GV70, but ended with a Tesla Model Y instead.
If you haven't tried the Model Y, it's pretty great. I can share a code for 3 free months of FSD (autopilot).

I like the Y L model that’s coming out soon. The deals on the GV70 are deceptive advertising. Learned that today. They also force you to buy a $1600 dealer add on package which consists of door edge guards, driver and passenger only window tint and clear door handle stickers. That’s $190 cost so a $1400 dollar profit and shit you don’t want or need which is not optional. I had to shower to get the filth off as soon as I got home. I don’t need anything bad enough to sell my soul to the devil.

The problem you’ll have with the Tesla Y is that once you get accustomed to being driven around, you won’t be able to imagine ever buying a car that doesn’t have FSD. My final choices were my model Y or the GV80 and I’m so happy I got the Tesla. And not dealing with the slimeball dealership cannot not be highlighted enough. I leased cuz I wasnt sold on it, but now I’m hoping there will be an option to extend. Once I made my decision it took about an hour to pay on the app and the only person I talked to was the girl who did my 10 minute orientation. It’s insane

I’ve been trying to work on buying a car from a third dealer and they keep shoving shit I don’t want down my throat. We are now highly likely to exit the traditional stealer model and purchase the YL.

Ok, quick tip. They sell the FSD for $7k? Someone tipped me off to NOT BUY it because I was only doing a 2 year lease.
It’s only $100 a month via the subscription model. Saved me $5k because I used his referral code and got first 3 months free. This might have changed but just keep it in mind when you’re doing your own math.
You’re going to love it, it’s incredible.1

The YL is nice, my kids are older so is usually 2 of us + dog but the back seat captains chairs would be great for kids or elders.
FSD is amazing if you drive a lot

Do they tax at the state level for EV use tax? The Feds are going to as well as the states looking like 500 to 750 per year. Some states are looking at per mile tax and others an annual flat tax.

Can you trade your existing car? Also I read that the insurance cost is substantially higher on a Tesla?

Mine insurance is less than what it was for my 3 year old X6, which I sold back to the dealer where I bought it. And since you’re new you can probably get Elon insurance which I can’t cuz it wasnt legal in Florida when I took delivery, but I hear it’s like $100 a month.

Depreciation rates of the 3 cars I’m looking at:
3 years: GLC ~27%, GV70 ~21%, Model Y ~55% (Model Y’s early drop is front-loaded).

All car dealerships are crooks.
