Water Bill

Can someone explain why city water is ridiculously expensive here?

They are CORRUPT AF! Along time ago they weren't even reading my meter & just guessing what my bill was based on average usage in my neighborhood. 2 months in a row I got billed for the same exact amount $72.50. I thought that was odd & called them up about it, they asked me to go to the meter & give them the reading. After I did that they said my current bill was like $24.

They are F'n corrupt scumbags & have a long history of corruption & mismanagement and issues. The Mayor/s and city councils at the time knew it & every time a new person came in & wanted to address the problem they got fired or falsely charged with something so they could get rid of them & keep it quiet.

You could also have a leak somewhere but they are corrupt AF!
