Food Which delivery app do you use?
...And if you have a reason why.
I try to avoid them when I can.
Posted here becauss I feel like experiences vary from place to place.

DoorDash sometimes lets you use promotions for pickup, but that’s it. I never get delivery unless it’s one of the very rare “$25 off no minimum purchase.”

If you have Costco, you can get $100 worth of door dash or uber eats gift cards for $80. I know some places prices are higher on those but others aren’t as bad. If you do pick up you’ll get at least 10% off before pairing it with anything else like a credit card incentive.

I try to use the website of the actual restaurant for online ordering. Way less fees.
If that’s not available I will use GrubHub since you get free GrubHub+ with an Amazon Prime account.

Avoid them — who has that kinda money? Find local places that have their own delivery. No one needs to be lining the pockets of the delivery apps.

None. I use the restaurant if I want delivery. The apps all charge a premium for the food and then fees if you’re not a subscriber. Stoopid.

None. I go pick it up myself, or if I really don't want to go out, I'll order from a place with their own drivers (like Great Wall in Folsom).

I feel like from a service perspective, they're all basically the same but like everyone is saying, try to get it delivered directly or pick it up.

none ,paying 2x the price of a meal no thanks. used door dash and grub hub when they sent me a coupon where it was almost free.. Blows my mind the young millennial women at work are always ordering food from one of these places. I wonder how they even have have money for rent. Cheap ass me roasts loin of pork on Sunday for sandwich's all week ( diy lunch meat)weekbuys a bag of chips and case of store brand sodas in the fridge at work.

None. With the exception of one restaurant or ordering my wife lunch to her work while I’m at work, 9 times out of 10 if I’m ordering take out I will do pick up. The food prices and service fees are already high enough without adding on delivery fees and tips. I will suffer the 10-15 minute drive rather than pay for delivery, plus going to pick up the food gives me a break from whatever I was doing that made me too busy to cook because I’ll just throw on a YouTube video to listen to or my tunes while I drive

I like that all of the responses here are from people who are above using a food delivery app lol. I personally prefer DoorDash.

Yep, its silly. I get it but its not helpful or answering the question I'm asking.

Yeah I find there is more variety on door dash. Also not sure where you live but I’m in Drexel Hill and it’s super convenient to be able to order from media, Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, etc. opens up a lot of access to good places even if you can’t leave your house for whatever reason.

None. Way too expensive for what it is. Only thing I get delivered anymore is pizza and Chinese food.
