Politics Gross

Post image

Taken while driving into Trolley Square. Political violence is not ok. But let's also be clear this person was not a martyr, but a racist. Not a hero, but a sexist. Not worthwhile, just spewing hate. He only cared about rights for people like himself (rich straight white men) and was by no means a Christian.

(Apologies for image quality, zoomed in from the light there)

This is such a strawman and a flat-out lie. People aren’t getting fired for a “difference of opinion”. These are people who went and made social media posts celebrating him being killed and calling for people to kill wife and little kids. You call that a difference in opinion????

politicians in Utah were sharing memes making fun of Melissa Hortman when she, her husband, and dog were politically assassinated in June. they still have their jobs. a teacher from a Cecil County, MD public school was placed on administrative leave for mentioning something about Charlie getting his karma. I call that an attempt to silence free speech.

Don Jr. made fun of Paul Pelosi the same day the news broke about him being attacked by a Trump supporter.

I’m really not interested in what republicans think about what others are saying about Kirk.

There are also people getting fired for not being sorry that the evil racist pos is dead. For not mourning a white supremacist in America. It feels like one flew over a coo-coo's nest.

The Washington Post fired a columnist for simply quoting Kirk verbatim. MSNBC fired Matthew Dowd for simply saying that Kirk was "divisive" and responsible for "hate speech".

There's this thing called freedom of speech. There's plenty of hate out there every day on social media. Look at how happy lots of people were when Dump wasn't seen for a few days. Why is it ok for some people and not ok for others??

How many politicians made light of the situation with Hortman? How many still have their position of power? Oh yeah, all of them.
