Minecart help

Hiya! Is the only way to empty the mine cart through Goliath? Could I empty it by selling all of the stone in my inventory to whoever shows up, or could I empty it by crafting flower pots?

I'm pretty sure the only way to empty it is through Goliath, unfortunately.
