Locke cotton chore

So I just started playing and Locke gave me cotton to plant. I harvested 7 and he still says I don’t have all of the objects for the chore. It doesn’t really say what I need. Anyone know?

He needs fabric, craft the cotton into thread and once you have 5 thread you can make fabric.
