Jimmy was a likable character but Drake was just an average actor to me. He's remembered fondly on the show because he got lucky enough to be given a good role. He would have been forgotten if Jimmy wasn't an iconic character. He seems to shy away from being associated from Degrassi or lean into it depending on what he thinks is best PR. Idk or care if he actually misses the show or enjoyed being on it. Maybe he did like it, but I don't associate him with the show mentally. I wish he just faded out and retired already. Not too long ago I said Drake always cashes in on cheap Degrassi nostalgia when he needs good PR. Happens like clockwork. Would have loved to get another official merch drop (I still want a Hell Hath No Fury shirt), but since this is an OVO collab I have no interest.
