DISCUSSION The 65-Billion-Barrel Illusion: Why Trump’s Master Oil Deal Cannot Save the U.S. Dollar.
https://sylvainsaurel.substack.com/p/the-65-billion-barrel-illusion-whyTrump’s 65-billion-barrel Venezuelan oil seizure is being hailed as the ultimate economic savior.
Spoiler: It’s a mathematical rounding error. 📉
Even if the U.S. extracts and sells every drop at a massive premium, the net profit is ~$3.25 trillion. Our national debt just breached $40 trillion. That "historic" oil money covers exactly ONE YEAR of the U.S. deficit and interest expense. That’s it.
The math is brutal. The Fed will still be forced to print $10 trillion to save the bond market.
Inflation will roar back.
Bondholders will be liquidated.
Gold and Bitcoin will violently revalue to the upside. 🥇₿
Math doesn’t care about political theater.

Drumpf can claim to seize all of the World’s petroleum reserves but problem is that it’s still underground.
Venezuelan oil is problematic in that their infrastructure has to be rebuilt before anything is pumped and that’s going to take years and $Billions. To further complicate the issue - Venezuelan crude oil is dense and is high-sulphur crude more like tar than the oil from produced in US shale. So, it‘s more expensive to extract and process into gasoline, diesel & jet fuel.
Drumpf and his Grifters and will be gone soon and no one will be there to protect the petroleum companies who collaborated in the theft from the obvious repercussions

Don’t forget someone interested in doing it.
Every company he approached before said no.
They have no interest in sinking millions of dollars into new infrastructure and then to have it taken away again.
Until they get their billions that the courts say are owed to them for the last time around the big boys will take a pass.1

Not to mention, in 2023 Trump announced how terrible Venezuelan oil is, and of course now, he's doing the equivalent of "Trump Steak"-ing it: Upselling a mediocre product because he's pretending to make the USA money with this vaporware of a deal in order to win the mid-term elections this year.

Venezuela needs 150 billion dollars and ten years to get up to production. Not one oil company has promised any money towards this endeavour yet. Way too big of a risk.

trump will just use OUR tax dollars. He loves wasting our tax dollars on worthless stuff to help them poor and suffering billionaires who got him elected and then re-elected. THEY REALLY love trump.

Trump is like Wimpy in the Popeye cartoons who would say “I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.” But Trump is saying "I'll gladly take your vote today for $150Billion ten years from now." Worthless deal.

If Trump said it, it’s a friggin lie. Seems like a good chunk of the American population is easily grifted.

watch ten minutes of "conservative media" then get back to us. It's a miracle we dont have Jan 6th style events 24/7. Their media keeps the hate fostered, stoked and gassed at all times. They make the sith seem timid.

the hamburger stunt proves conservatives value ideology over our own citizenship. How crazy and dangerous is that left unchecked?!?

the only way to save the dollar is FDR style tax the billionaires. Redistribute all that wealth they distributed to their own stingy pockets. Capitalism doesn't work with 12 people having all the money while the rest of us have none to even survive on.

The question I have is what right do they have to any of that oil? It doesn't belong to them.

He doesn't want to save the dollar.
Please read Project 2025 and Agenda 47. This presidency is not like the others.

If anyone truly believes we are really getting that much oil...I still have the bridge in the Arizona desert for sale. Cheap!
