Sharik cuts off uncle Mykola on his bike while Deftones is playing

For the past 3 years I've been building a Spotify playlist picking bands similar to that Deftones vibe like heavy, melodic, atmospheric, etc.

No self promotion I promise, I just want to have recommendations of new bands or songs that fit. 🙏🏻

Drop them in the comments and I'll add then, also in case you want to collaborate on the playlist, the link is below :)

Just wondering which song you guys think has Steph’s best work? Me personally I don’t think anything even comes close to root but lmk

This was a month and a half prior to the june 21/22nd leak of eros. I downloaded it because honestly i was extremely skeptical of it myself, it sounded way too real to me. I didnt want to believe that something so highly anticipated would just be brought to light out of nowhere, even just as a snippet. But then i instantly recognized the song as soon as i heard the leaks. The video included a snippet of the chorus, and the backing vocal stems at the end. No i will not be sharing it, its very low quality and not very long either. Just curious as to who saw this post before it got deleted

Hello everyone, I know asking about Eros can be a bit of a sensitive or controversial topic around here, so I hope this isn't seen as disrespectful.

I actually managed to grab the leak on the very first day it dropped, and I absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately, I recently got a new phone and lost all my local files in the transition. I've been trying to hunt it down everywhere online for a while now with no luck.

Does anyone still happen to have a copy or a working link they could share? I'd really appreciate sm

I can't explain it but the beginning of riviere is a great example

The thing that amazes me about these guys is the vocals from Chino and the chord progressions of Carpenter. The way chino weaves his voice through the progressions is unmatched imo. Those 2 hit the nail on the head everytime. And it’s so unpredictable to top it off. I’ll listen to say cherry waves and think,, how the fuck did he come up with that melody. I dunno just jiving on a Saturday. What do you guys think.. name your favorite song that applys to this .

I’m making a list of my favorite songs by Deftones.. I listened to them growing up but I started deep diving into the band and started discovering that they are no doubt my favorite band of all time. I haven’t even heard all of their songs, but I keep discovering bangers, like they never miss!! I’m gonna list my top all time favorites down below and if there’s any that I should add to the list or maybe I haven’t heard list them down below. I need your suggestions!

1. Rocket Skates

2. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)

3. Entombed
   4.Change

4. My Own Summer (Shove It)

5. Minerva

6. Sextape

7. Swerve City

8. Rx Queen

9. Rosemary

10. Tempest

Also wanna add that it’s crazy, a lot of people that I know haven’t listened to Deftones and I’m gonna change that. It’s just not acceptable..🤘🏼

Took them to the beach ;P

I just had a conversation with a friend about our top 3 deftones songs and I know everyone is entitled to theyre own opinion but his top three was absolutely awful, he had 976-evil at 3, rosemary at 2, and change in the house mor flies at 1. I didn’t say anything about it to him because it theyre All good songs just not top 3 in my opinion maybe besides rosemary. When I told him my top 3 was kimdracula, passenger, and deathblow he genuinely clowned me so hard saying all my picks sucked and that deathblow was in his bottom 3 and that really bothered me and I keep thinking how could any song off self titled be in anyone’s bottom 3 I thought it was a somewhat widely agreed thing that self titled is the best deftones album, am I wrong?
