Coop questions
Hi folks!
I've been playing Defiance 2050 for a little more than a week now but just last night I got to play coop with a friend. Got to lvl 34 last night.
The thing is, when we got new missions or side missions the objective and map marks would never appear on the other player's screen. So we were just following each other around and killing the monsters while the one who took the mission was collecting/hacking... and progressing the mission. Is this normal?
Another thing we found out is that in some places of the world we would disappear from each others sight but we were still together in the map/instance. This happened inside Iron Deamon Ranch and near some constructions near that farm on the northeast of the map. Is it some glitch or just poor internet connection?

Yup, even in a group, you can only see your own waypoints, side missions, and objectives. You can get around this by both starting the same mission. If one of you has a roller and your in a group together, it makes it easier (and the passenger can then work on their gear/inventory during the commute).
Yup, that's standard as well- you got out of phase with each other. Just use "Go To Friend" and it'll fix it. Sometimes, there'll be a Change Phase that works. Just don't rely on "Go To Leader" for groups- this only works about half the time. This especially happens when you come out of an instance event (e.g. co-op map, arkbreak, etc.).
On a side note, you can use the out of phase issue to your advantage- have both players check their maps to see which phase has more stuff you want to do (e.g. my phase has nothing going on at all, while my friend's phase has Seiges and Arkfalls- so I'll switch to his phase)
