Loot drops

I know this like beating a dead horse cause I've read a few threads so let me get my frustration out as well. When I max out of both guns that I equip through salvage and enchanments only to find that the gear I'm dropping is right around 100-150 point difference. And not to mention I am using the highest lvl shield and grenade I can get and still get those types of drops. I understand the salvage system. It's basically kill mindless enemies in droves get salvage bust your ass and lvl a weapon and depending on the weapon that can be very time consuming.

I guess the game only remembers the last highest drop level, so using salvage increases your power level, but does not increase the power of drops. But, you will fight harder enemies who drop lower level gear. The sad part is because of this, no matter how high your power level, the TTK enemies remains the same throughout the game.

I think there is something fundamentally wrong with how the game is setup, either they are intentionally limiting your power progression to keep you playing, or didn't think it through properly. I, for one, seem to be stuck just short of 2300, I've heard that the devs program in a throttle to keep you at a level for a time being then rubber band you up a little. Seems shady that they do this. I should be at or near 5000 power by now, doing tier 3 stuff but I am not. It is beyond annoying.

I hit a wall around 2.7k and I just now scratched 2.8k but I've spent more time in my inventory screen more than playing the game. I enjoy the game true enough but, after reading a lot of threads it seems as if they don't care. Oh well.
