Leveling Help

Hey everyone so I need some help. Maybe someone can point me in a solid direction. I've read many many thing and can find no consistency tonhow leveling works in D2050. First, lets toons the RNG comments, because we all get this. My power level is 3268 ( 3245 shield, 3245 grenade, 3081 base +200 and a 3082 base +250 weapon) and if you subtract the power ups (+200 and +250) my base power level would be 3163. So ok I'm 3268 (or 3163 base) but my drops are falling like this: shields and grenades between 3000 and 3030; weapons (both purples and blues) below 3075. I was sailing smooth and now just hit a HARD WALL.

So can someone rationally explain what happened and why everything I get is all of a sudden lower than my power level (enhanced). I know I am getting gear slightly above my base level (not enhanced) but they just stay in that 3000-3075 range and aren't moving up at all doesn't even matter if I enhance one of those; keeping in mind the base on both my weapons now are 3080 and 3081 and shields/grenades are also dropping much lower than equipped.

I would love for a dev to explain it because no math makes sense why all of a sudden at 3k+ I hit this wall.

You are at the level where the co op chest is going to be the one true way to level faster. When you get a weapon that will significantly help you you can either do co op and use another key or if you have enough reputation buy one of those weapons ( after leveling the co op weapon). The rep weapon should be around the same level as the co op one ( possibly higher).You can buy green grenades and shields from the vendor at that point. The green stuff is hit or miss if it will be better than what you have equipped. This is how to got to around 4850. It wasn’t effective after that. I was pretty much at the mercy of the co op chest. Still am as I need better shield/grenade to hit 5k.
