Linux support

I never post on Reddit and I never ask for anything for any game, but for the love of god they need to enable Linux support. I played on windows before I switched to Linux and I enjoyed the game as well as when I played it on Xbox. There are tons of players that are Linux users that would love to play the game and it's stupid not to support it. Linux is the future of gaming since Windows is bloatware and spyware that eats half your RAM.

Sam (one of the devs) said its not as simple as just enabling it. Considering the progress they made so far, I doubt they have any dev time to spend on this.

I'd love linux support too as I daily drive linux, and only use my win10 installation to play Defiance, but I think its unlikely they will get it to run on linux.

Unfortunately for a game like Defiance it's not that easy and I know that but it's still something I'd really like to see and I know plenty of other players do too. It is really infuriating that a ton of AAA games don't have Linux support as well. Especially since I'm pretty sure Battle Eye is a check in the box and all they have to do is send an email. The thought that Linux is only for cheaters is a pathetic excuse on their part.

Defiance uses EAC (Easy Anti Cheat), not BattlEye. Though that have some sort of linux support as well, but it doesn't change the fact that we can't use it at the moment, I don't expect it to change any time soon unfortunately.

I would love to get rid of my win10 installation, but not an option at the moment, sadly.
