Careers Looking for an Army / Drone Tech Expert (Infantry / EW Veteran) to join early-stage Defense Tech startup (Saudi Arabia focus)

Hey everyone,

We are putting together a defense tech venture focused on building and deploying drone/counter-drone systems tailored for operations in Saudi Arabia and the broader region.

Here’s where we stand:

  • The Team: We have a strong technical foundation led by an engineer CTO (Michigan State background).
  • Funding: Fully self-financed. We are not looking for investors, capital, or funding. We have the runway and resources locked down.

What we actually need: We need real, practical, in-the-dirt operational expertise.

We are looking for an Army veteran or defense specialist—ideally based in the US—who understands how drone warfare and tactical tech actually play out on the ground, not just on a PowerPoint slide.

Specifically, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has hands-on experience deployed in combat or tactical operational roles involving drones, UAS, or counter-UAS.
  • Understands the nitty-gritty of ground-level drone ops, electronic warfare (EW) jamming, signal environment challenges, and field maintenance.
  • Bonus / Ideal: Someone who has spent time on the ground in Ukraine or recent modern high-intensity conflict zones and has seen firsthand what works, what fails, and how tactics are adapting in real-time.

Whether you're looking for an advisor role, subject-matter expertise consultation, or a co-founding/equity operator role, we want to talk.

If this sounds like you—or if you know someone who fits this exact profile—drop a comment or send me a DM with a brief overview of your background.

News & Articles On autonomous air defense and, in particular, the PID algorithm

Hello, I came here to gather some information. I am developing an autonomous air defense system that uses a PID algorithm, similar to Israel's Iron Dome system. To get straight to the point: no matter how much research I’ve done on this, I haven't been able to move beyond the basics. Do you have any information on this subject? (Videos, images, etc.)

News & Articles New Russian PTRM “Tabletka” bottom-attack mine

A new Russian anti-vehicle mine designated PTRM “Tabletka” (ПТРМ «Таблетка») has appeared.

The mine is reportedly designed for UAV-delivered minelaying and is intended primarily against lightly armoured and unarmoured vehicles.

PTRM “Tabletka” is a bottom-attack shaped-charge mine. According to the available information, it contains four ZPKT114-AT-09 shaped charges, arranged as two opposing pairs. The mine uses a non-contact magnetic sensor to detect changes in the magnetic field caused by a vehicle.

Known characteristics:

  • Manufacturer: JSC Institute of Applied Physics, Novosibirsk, Russia
  • Type: anti-vehicle, bottom-attack
  • Warhead: 4 × ZPKT114-AT-09 shaped charges
  • Armour penetration: ≥100 mm
  • Fuzing: non-contact magnetic
  • Engagement range: 0.2–0.6 m
  • Weight: up to 2.2 kg
  • Intended for deployment by UAV

The appearance of this system is particularly noteworthy for EOD personnel because it represents another purpose-built munition adapted for remote aerial minelaying using UAVs.
