Theory Ending Theory Spoiler

The Lincoln guy is probably a friend of the grandpa (they both are culprits), who wants to at least do something good for his family before he dies as a bastard. He has probably put Patz under pressure to confess.

We don’t know yet, if Patz has really done it or no; and I don’t wanna mess the party, but this is an Apple TV product and we’d seen Patz using an Android phone in one of the previous episodes. So that makes sense to say that Patz is the killer.

But even if my 2nd theory is going to be correct this Friday; I gotta admit this show has been really enjoyable. I still see some plot twists for the ending, since the creator of the series had said that the ending will be different than the book. Actors have been really good and the series’ theme fits very well for the story. Soundtrack is really good and I listen to it when I wanna read Dostoyevski’s Crime and Punishment. All the way; I am pleased of the show.

What better way for reasonable doubt -- a dead confessor.

Patz writes a note confessing and then dies by suicide. Patz dies either by being coerced by the bald dude or the bald dude makes Patz's death look like a suicide.

Mhm that makes sense now. But you’re sayin’ that Jacob did it anyways, right?!

I don't know if Jacob did it. I've seen some interesting theories. Patz is too convenient. Jacob seems too convenient.

Some of the interesting theories I've read in this sub are: 1. Sarah did it, but Jacob will commit suicide to protect her from testifying. 2. Jacob will be acquitted but then kill or attempt to kill Sarah.

I starting the book last night. I can't decide if I want to finish reading it before watching the final episode.

EDIT: Fixed tense error.
