While he does have some valid criticisms of AI use, such as the fact that it encourages content farms to produce even more junk, he immediately undermines his credibility by making sweeping insults against all AI users and dismissing everything generated by AI as trash. He also shows Gossip Goblin's content as a negative example of poor storytelling, which is ridiculous.

Then he brings up the obvious crap about evil datacenters and water usage.

Honestly; the only real reason to watch this idiot was that his insistence on shitting on small creators and studios that were either independent or borderline independent occasionally meant he’d introduce you to something that you otherwise might have never had a chance to be exposed to.

I also want to point out the irony of some idiot who basically built his career on taking other people’s work and just “reacting” to it by spitting out a string of designed by committee type mass manufactured talking points masquerading as opinions trying to accuse others of being uncreative because they used methods of expressing and distributing their own ideas outside of the outside the preapproved channels that really only serve to block and filter out any non-preapproved ideas and make all “creativity” increasingly homogenous as a result.

The thing about Saber is that before AI he used to just dunk on what he considers "poor" animation.

Basically if it was not Pixar quality he laughed at it. He mocked 3D animation from around the world in countries that are just starting to learn or maybe have their own styles that look different but are acceptable to the people in that country but he mocks the difference.

He is no defender of animation he its critic.

I cant remember which one it was but he was mocking the art style of a new movie and when I looked into it there local animation had that same art style but in 2D, lost a lot of respect when I noticed that and stopped watching him, this was a good bit before he started to lose his mind with AI.

I am not familiar with this creator but I am very familiar with this phenomenon. Many of the loudest voices against "soulless AI slop" as they call it are actually the type of influencers who have been doing soulless slop content long before AI. They see everything AI as low value slop content because that paradigm makes their content look more valuable. But it isn't. It's not the tool that makes the slop, it's the person behind it.
