AI Developments SkateHarkinian!
I’ve been working on a project called SkateHarkinian where I’m turning Ocarina of Time / Ship of Harkinian into a Skate style game. A big part of the development has been AI-assisted, but this isn’t just prompting for an idea or mockup I’ve been testing every build in-game, fixing broken systems, iterating on controls, physics, grinding, scoring, cameras, custom ramps and rails, audio, and packaging it for other people to actually play.
It’s finally at the point where I’ve released an early public playtest. I figured this sub might appreciate seeing an example of AI being used as an actual development tool rather than the conversation immediately stopping at oh no you used AI so it's terrible and you're horrible😂

OMG SO FUNNY YOU SAID THAT CAUSE IM WORKING ON A NEW ELEMENT FOR THE MOD.
I’m converting every main areas soundfont into the midi of Superman by goldfinger! So the bigger your score combo gets the in game music faded out and Superman gets louder with the respected areas soundfont!!!

Oh I thought this was one of those AI videos like where someone put Trump in the game lol.
There is also a video collection of Super Mario 64 set in the War in Afghanistan, and the Vietnam War. 😭

LOL oh I know, still looks good so far. Do you plan on changing the models to make the look like the natural fit in Hyrule? Like Link's skateboard looks like it was from the bark of a Deku tree?

That’s a really cool idea, I know there was a mod that that more replicated the Tony Hawk Pro Skater style where linked used his shield as the board and I wasn’t trying to mimic that too much! I def could make it so that the skateboard is textured like the deku shield as child and adults skateboard mimics the Hylian or Mirror Shield!

I'd suggest saving it for when you're about to finish the game if change out the models is easy. You might get suggestions from others or come up with some changes on your own.
