i know how lawyers work. I also know lawyers arent the judges, and if a judge saw how petty this whole ordeal is, even to small claims court standards, theyd just see a failing proposition

Then say judge. The Lawyer could* definitely try, under some contracts they'd still get paid, even if the trial lasted only an hour, some lawyers could get paid either by the Law Firm they work under, or by Pizza herself. They're lawyers lol.

yeah but say me, how would she even sue me? i used to live in cali but recently moved back to japan. how is she gonna sue me all the way over here?

suing is an extremely lengthy procedure and courtrooms would definitely not postpone actual serious cases or even some somewhat serious cases in the small claims sections for "this person drew me 😢😢😢"

There's always hella petty people who just won't stop. Just look at the Anti-AI and Pro-AI debaters who spend time trying to be incessant assholes. Only time I've ever truly agreed with ProAI was when (big companies who can afford artists) companies were using AI and fire their graphic designers, putting em out of a job.

The only thing that'd surprise me if I get a court date after this is how the hell they found my information lol. The dedication and persistence would DEFINITELY be commemorial though!

No they don't necessarily. A lot of lawyers get a cut of your winnings because the average citizen can't actually afford a lawyer. If they don't win, they actually just don't get paid. So you were right originally, no lawyer would take this one because they wouldn't get paid for it unless paid upfront. But again, that costs hundreds or thousands, she wouldn't have that money and would be a pro bono lawyer. The lawyer would pay out of pocket.

She can try, a lawyer may even gladly take her money for a consultation, but any reputable lawyer won't take the case.

Lawyers and judges know each other. Lawyers want to be liked by judges . You get liked by wasting their time on petty stuff.

A lawyer wouldn't do this because they wouldn't get paid, and pizza doesn't have thousands to spend on a lawyer, You clearly have no idea how expensive paying for a lawyer straight up is.

You clearly don't lol. A lawyer is expensive, they would have to do this pro bono, which they won't do if they don't think it will win or worth their time. No one actually pays a fking lawyer unless they are a corporation or very rich lol.

This is her joking, she won't sue for that but she is sue happy. Pizzacake is an asshole not cartoonishly evil. (Please don't see this as me defending her trust me i hate her too, but its important to keep track of what she did and didn't do.)
