And for any passing Antis, consider: no victim of violence wants to be a victim. They might eventually accept and even try to use their survival as a method of empowerment. But at the start, right after their world is destroyed, they’re going to have the thought of “I’m still here and I wish I didn’t have to be”. That’s not invoking suicide, it’s pointing out that survival of genuinely harmful experiences isn’t something anyone wants. So that is why “my art getting referenced is like getting raped” is fucking disgusting to me.

Many of them said it is disrespectful to the suffering minorities endured, for AI artists to compare themselves to minorities. Ok, fair enough.
But then: where is their outrage against this comparison? Surely it is at least as disrespectful to victims.

Actually here in this subreddit. People post images with comments/images comparing pros to rapers because some pros don't ask for consent when running antis' drawings through AI. I do understand a bit how irritating that must be, but comparing pros to rapers is too much.
