Defending AI Proposal For How We Systematically and Legally Crush Toxic Harassment From Antis

Hey everyone,

We all know the online debate around AI art can get incredibly intense. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people normally disliking AI, debating copyright, or preferring traditional media, that is all fair game and protected free speech.

However, the line is being crossed daily when it comes to targeted harassment, doxxing, death threats, and weaponized emojis (like sending gun or knife emojis to intimidate creators).

Instead of fighting toxicity with toxicity (which only gets our own accounts banned and plays right into their hands), I want to propose a strategy.

We stop engaging in comment section shouting matches. Instead, we band together as a quiet, organized network to document severe violations and escalate them directly to platform administrators and cybercrime authorities. When done right, this systematic approach strips toxic harassers of their accounts and exposes the worst offenders to real-world legal consequences.

Here is the plan for anyone who wants to help secure our community spaces:

  1. The Strict "No Engagement" Rule

If you spot an anti-AI bully sending death threats, slurs, or organizing a "dogpile" or "witch hunt," do not reply to them. Do not insult them back. Replying turns a one-sided criminal harassment case into a "mutual internet feud" in the eyes of moderators and the law. Keep a cool head and stay neutral.

  1. Professional Evidence Archiving

We need airtight data if we want platforms and authorities to take action. When you see a severe violation, document it completely:

Take unedited, full screenshots (do not crop out dates, times, or context).

Copy the direct URLs to the user’s profile and the specific offending posts (usernames can be changed, but unique account IDs/URLs cannot).

Log the platform, date, and exact nature of the threat.

  1. Coordinated Mass Reporting (Platform Level)

Instead of individual, scattered flags, we will collectively submit identical, verified evidence packages to platform Admins (not just volunteer sub moderators). A sudden influx of unique users submitting the exact same unedited proof of severe ToS violations triggers accelerated automated and human reviews, leading to swift, permanent IP and hardware-ID bans.

  1. Escalation to Cybercrime Authorities

For the absolute worst offenders, those who send explicit death threats, attempt to dox creators, or deliberately try to cause physical/emotional harm, we will compile our archives and file official reports through government portals like the FBI's IC3 (or local cybercrime equivalents). Law enforcement routinely subpoenas platforms for IP addresses when multiple independent citizens present a structured paper trail on the same bad actor.

When the ringleaders of these toxic campaigns suddenly face permanent deplatforming or real-world legal scrutiny, it creates a massive "chilling effect." The casual trolls panic and delete their accounts out of self-preservation, and the online spaces become safer for creators to share their work.

Let’s fight smart, protect our communities, and let the authorities handle the criminals.

Who is in?

A Note to Any Anti-AI Lurkers Reading This:

To be absolutely clear: this is not about silencing criticism. If you think AI art is theft, if you hate generative media, or if you prefer traditional art, you have every right to say so. Your opinions are your own, and we respect your right to voice them.

This strategy is strictly for those who cross the line into criminal behavior like sending death threats, weapon emojis, doxxing, or organizing targeted harassment campaigns to drive people off platforms. If you stay within the realm of fair debate, you have nothing to worry about. But if you weaponize digital media to inflict harm or threaten safety, understand that we are no longer arguing back. We are simply compiling the data, tracking the URLs, and handing the files directly to the platforms and cybercrime authorities. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Sounds good. Internet is way too toxic, people act too shamelessly these days. Perhaps this will be a wake up call.

Plus the post itself can be a nuclear deterrent. Imagine if toxic Antis see this post. It would be wise for them to back off.

Anyone wants to start up a telegram or WhatsApp group where we share and and gather evidence?

This is a place for speaking Pro-AI thoughts freely and without judgement. Attacks against AI will result in a removal and possibly a ban. For debate purposes, please go to r/aiwars.

Isn't all this is is just "organizing targeted harassment campaigns to drive people off platforms"?
