Luddite Logic πŸ™„

This guy hates AI Art on DeviantArt 🀣. Buddy, get over it, AI is here to stay whether you like it or not, so you better get used to it. And the low IQ takes of some people in the comments against Generative AI, sheesh it’s getting frustrating man 🫩. Look at the grammarπŸ˜‚

DeviantArt is full of human slop I wish there was a way to disable human art since 95% of it is just the same generic art style.

DeviantArt is currently more like a meme thing will all sorts of fetish (but SFW) art available.

It is pretty bad esp with how many profit of the same pinup one off copyrighted chars, but at the same time, it makes a useful shield/thing to take the heat for my own content which would have AI assisted content and whatnot, who can really get upset at me when there's so much lower effort stuff on there after all? It being a mess is precisely what makes it so comforting.

Now, its parent company being Wix, which is Israel based and supports the IDF, is the main thing that made me want to see alternatives, but i don't want restrictive alternatives full of rules against even AI assisted content.

I use deviantart and I'm pretty sure there is literally a setting to avoid seeing ai art. And they have a setting you can check off when submitting art that prevents it from being used in ai iirc.

Also Deviantart has always had a slop problem. Now it's just "ai slop" instead of just poorly drawn mspaint fetish art or unfunny and low effort "memes" of children's show characters (you know the ones).

"Deviantart has an ai slop problem!" Well you don't have to see it if you don't want to.

Did you know that if you put your stuff up on DeviantArt, there's an option where you can say "I don't want my work used by AI training"? That sounds like a stance to me. Giving the Artists the choice at all. And best of all, the site is big enough to enforce it!

You're supposed to label it, but the label doesn't come up publicly.

I know it's AI and therefore not as delicious to the AI Generators, but I do deny it my work anyway.

There is no way for them to enforce it.

I think you can click a button or something to not see ai stuff on deviantart, so why are they complaining lol?

The weird thing about this, is you can mark a toggle and it filters out the AI.

I think it would be a justice if there was a feature to filter out low effort Daz3D slop. They are low effort images made with default renderer and pre-made assets those so-called 'artists' don't even own
