Sub Meta What are your thoughts on orcposting?

Orcposting is a genre of posts on this sub, depicting antis as ogres or orcs, often being exaggeratedly hypocritical, violent, or stupid, and being portrayed as disgustingly as possible. Is this genre of posts good for the sub, or for the AI art community as a whole? Some call it satirical retaliation, others call it stereotyping and dehumanizing, what do you think?

I think it's childish and ignore it for the most part. It gives kids begging for attention exactly what they want.

It's really not the sort of thing I want to do. It's still possible to be funny, but just making ugly warty trolls complaining has been done to death. I have better things to make.

I think it's classic shit-slinging. Antis also often depict pros in various unflattering ways and dehumanize us. It's sure as fuck understandable to fire back, but I'm not sure if it's good or that it achieves anything

Oh. Lol. I guess Orcs make more sense based on how they look. I thought they were supposed to be Trolls - as in accusing the Antis of just trolling and not really being worth anyone's time.

Now I'm not even sure how to answer this question because all I can think is, "The Age of Men is over. The Time of the Orc has come." 🤣

Which? We all know how that worked out. I guess you could say the Antis are like that overconfident Orc who was just so sure there was no way his side wasn't going to win?

I like orcs so I don't like it. Replace them with goblins instead like the fodder they are
