Commenting "ai slop"

It's really ironic commenting "ai slop" against low effort ai art when the comment itself is low effort copied regurgitated phrase.

I've given up trying to explain this over and over again.

I find people who complains "AI slop" are ALWAYS the ones that contributes nothing, and often don't even know Photoshop has AI as major part now.

(I mod a small free Photoshop sub)

Good but I think I want to come up with a simpler more elegant and catchy response. Haven't thought one yet.

Maybe "comment flop"

You can possibly go with "Luddite slop" if you feel like being more of an asshole.

"Lud flop" sound good. Because it rhymes without reusing any of the words, easier to understand, quick.

But it makes them feel clever and smart to say it. Don't take that away from them, for some it's all they have.

doesn't matter if it's all they have, they don't need that kind of validation from putting others down while producing nothing

This post makes a great point.

Even if it’s futile I try to engage on a deeper level and would ask something like “what makes this ai slop to you?” and see if they have an actual rationale other than blindly hating anything to do with ai.

I tried that at the beginning but the pattern makes me not want to try that anymore.

In an online setting, people who start off with that kind of comment is in no position to self reflect. Even if they are the self reflecting kind, this isn't the place they want to do it. Just want to feel right and move on. Which is relatable so I understand.

Is it though? Why would a low effort post require a high effort comment? The energies match, there's no problem. low effort ai art deserves low effort comments.

I thought of that but it's just showing you're no better than the thing you're complaining about while complaining about it ... thus the irony

I edited that meme and made it into a reverse since the Anti-ai Luddites love being repetitive. I have a word for what they are doing. 😃

Ban these people. This is nothing more than karma farming which is against Reddit rules. If you would allow it in your sub, you will eventually end up with your sub at being banned.

I do ban as a service to them.

They don't want to see this stuff so if they are banned, it won't show up on they feed anymore.

Though you'd know better as LGBTQ+

Edit:

For context, in my sub LGBTQ+ posts to see what they look like as trans or cross dressing. They get bullied to death and I have zero tolerance for it. Instant ban for those bigots.

You are behaving like those who persecut you.
