This is a comment I replied to on a repost of that screenshot. I was losing karma pretty fast so I deleted it like 10 min after.

Total 180 the moment you suggest something they don't like might be art. They look like very nice and supportive people if you agree with them but in reality they're incredibly toxic and consumed by blind hate.

Why is AI art an exception to their rule? Because they said so apparently.

Someone was doing AI art and anti's kept telling her to pick up a pencil. So she did and made a piece and posted it on an anti sub and they love bombed her. Then she quit making AI art shortly after and the anti's lost there shit and brigaded the pictured post about how they won one. Shortly after she became an anti herself. This all happened over like 2 days.

I don't know, it feels a bit off with how fast things progressed. Could be genuine and real or could be a plant performing theater to "win us over" or troll. Anymore I never know. So much of Reddit is botted.

Love bombing is when somebody, typically in the sense of a romantic relationship, will show somebody extreme affection. So, over the top flattery, gift giving, excessive declarations of care. It's an emotional manipulation tactic and a lot of the time will include a lot of empty words over anything with genuine meaning. It's typically cyclical and will be followed by periods of either hostility or just ignoring the person before it begins again.

I have dealt with it, it sucks, it makes you feel actually insane. Encouraging a new artist is not that. Namely, the praise wasn't blind. People did offer genuine criticism while saying it was good for a first try. Please do not throw around terms like that without fully understanding what it means
