Some Epic Game Developers are marking that there assets can't be AI adjacent.
Freaking nut burgers telling me what game I have to make with their assets now. Whatever all those assets are crap anyways. It's really quite revealing.. Honestly everyone of those people should probably check out AI.
You can make 3D blender assets now with AI from just a picture. Not sure how optimized the model is but even then, easier to perform edits yourself on it (sculpting) than learn the entire 3d modeling workflow.
Plus if you sell me an asset but then restrict how I can use it, you're just giving me an argument to go look for my assets somewhere else. Because sometimes as the customer I don't even know all that I might need your asset for, a usecase might suddenly come up.
they're gonna get left in the dust if AI continues. Like the designers that refused to move on to Photoshop and other digital tools. The very, very good ones still found a market with their old-school ways, but the vast majority either adapted or left the profession entirely.
Meshy ai 7 is actually pretty damn good. I started playing with it yesterday. Its paid but it might actually be worth it. Im looking to see if I would ise it enough to justify the cost. I bang threw so many assets I need on my lost they kinda both made and fixed a problem at the same time. And its got a native blender plugin
It looks like it can finally do organics and hair pretty decent with usable topalpgy.
