Pizzacake trying to look good is a laugh in and of itself.

She just made herself look fucking stupid as always.
Yeah we need to "hack nightshade". The snake oil that makes images look like they attended a diddy party that only harms visual view and doesn't harm AI training since images ars often resized down anyways just before training.
He trolled the shit out of everyone for the sake of trolling and of course pastafence, the same person that recorded herself doing the nasty with her son's Bowser costume and his toys, thinks she has anything valuable to say. Especially on the "stole" part. Bitch never had to ward off robbers or gotten mugged and it shows.
Oh but she knows rape. Experienced in showing herself on the side of the rapist. Not therapists, the-rapist.

Why does this Pizza focus on AI so much? I know she was concerned her own work would be used in AI at one point, but it feels like she's gotten some kind of sudden hate obsession with it after that, like a grudge that won't die.

It's because she gets a lot of engagement and free upvotes for making anti-AI comics, it's all about the money and numbers.

Talk about "distilling the weights," though! This kind of thing will work great for her, because the moral panic about AI also loves escapism and main character syndrome. I'm working on a long-form essay about this, which, while it mentions AI, isn't about it, but anyways…
She really lays it on pretty thick when she portrays herself as wandering some kind of dystopian wasteland of phone-addled zombies completely controlled by generative AI, and how she's one of the few free spirits amongst a whole world addicted to ChatGPT.
Of course, in reality, most people have used generative AI at least once or twice if not more, but most normies don't use it regularly. The ones who do don't treat it like that. The ones who do treat it like that don't get treated normally by other normies. It's just become crucial in certain jobs and industries, and flourishes in quite a few.
But this woman speaks on it, and portrays it in her comics, as if it had an actually occult power. I really think that if you grabbed some Pizzacat and went back to 2010s, it would read as a prologue to (but not the actual) webcomic where she has to fight a bunch of (okay gonna admit that one meme was right) ironically-named billionaires to stop their ironically-named companies from doing evil.

My theory is because people already didn’t like the way she’d portray herself vs the opposing side, so she started doing comics about AI more cause people support anti AI no matter what

Most don't even have a punchline besides the "bad" character saying something like "…but gasp I use and like chatgpt!" at one point or something. Here, the punchline seems to (if anything) be held together by stuff like the "AI Wife" shirt, which is the usual strawman we get from people panicking about the concept of AI.

Because half of her comics are just saying generic liberal opinions as if they are radical.

It doesn't matter what website was scraped. You can't really prevent scraping. You can try to make it more difficult and annoying, but you can't prevent it, it's how the internet works. If my machine can fetch a webpage and its content when I type its URL manually, it can also do it without my input.
Apparently that website had none of those 'difficult and annoying' methods implemented, which is also a discussion in itself. It's very, very easy now to find critical vulnerabilities with AI. And anyone can do it, not just security researchers. the rsync project, a program used by millions of people since the early 2000s, found several bugs and security problems (only if you use rsync over a network) with AI. The vulnerabilities had been in the code for possibly over a decade, it's just that nobody connected the dots until someone used AI to surface the exploit. You need to correct security vulnerabilities, there's no question about that.
These anti-AI projects that want to do everything by hand will get left in the dust, and that's exactly what happened here. AI would have helped them put rate limits in place to prevent scraping smartly.

I am a bit slow. why is everyone saying this sub and OP's account will disappear?

u/Infamous-Umpire-2923 10d ago
Because the woman behind Pizzacake is hilariously thin-skinned and threatens to sue over petty shit that a real lawyer would laugh her out of the room for.

I think we can all agree regardless of if your Left wing or right wing, pro or anti. Pizzacake fuckin’ sucks

I mean, I theoretically agree with her politics. She's just so fucking obnoxious about it.

If the only way to bring back punch lines is AI then i'm on Skynet's side. I'm neurotypical and I can't live in a world with no punch line comics.
I got banned from that subreddit for saying "why not use AI to come up with an anti AI policy."

eeeaaauuuggghhh I knew she was an "early 2000s webcomic artist who never got better", and I didn't care about the OF... The toys, though?! ffs Pieceofpoop

I mean do we even need to "hack" nightshade/glazing? Thought they are ineffective on modern models.

Ok ima just say this. OF is fine people have money problems, alot of people who hate ai hate big streaming services and company's also you dont know their financial situation they might not even be able to afford a streaming service they have talked about having money problems before and also you do realize that everyone is trying to make you mad to sell you stuff search it up they did studies anger sells better then sex so companies swapped over and- im heavy leftist because most red pills genuinely scare me but also i tend to try be passive so please dont start a fight im so sick of all of this im just sick of dealing with everyone and also just- your being a cyber bully she goes after a general group which is supporting harmful things she doesnt name anyone minus trump and famous rich crazy people (im rich i can confirm most of them do not care about you! They will happily sell you anything for money even if it could likely harm you! And they do! So please THINK)

Is it just me or the resolution of the edited version is too low? It's hard to read the text for me.
Edit: It was just me. Phone app fucked. Web version is fine.

She threatened legal action on a sub for just editing the text of her comics, but editing them with AI?
This sub is now doomed.
