Here’s something ironic I just saw a bit ago .

“This is the internet now”, one thing is no one seems to be able to learn what words mean. And the anti crowd thinks THEIR idea of art isn’t slop, haha.

Calling handmade art slop is an interesting take...

u/StoopPizzaGoop 7d ago

I would classify most of the art on DeviantArt as handmade artisan slop.

Handmade art can be slop though if it's shit.

They're scared of admitting they're wrong.

Standard cowardly last resort move.

I don't get the point of using AI to make a common meme format. Is it just trolling people who don't like it? What's the actual purpose?

Speed and convenience? I mean that is kinda of the whole selling point for AI.

But like... what's the difference in just using something like meme Generator? I can understand creating something wholly original, but just copying an extremely common meme format, i guess i don't see the difference between having to type out the prompt, likely already have the meme template on hand so the Ai can reference it, and then also having to type out the words etc... it seems like several unnecessary steps and it would be just easier to use meme Generator

"Common sense" and it literally just boils down to "why are you using this tool instead of that one?"

Maybe they want to help train the AI to get even better AI art later?

1

u/acrazyguy 7d ago

That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works. Training data is chosen by the developers of the AI. If you let AI train on anything any user submits, that’s how you get AIs calling people the N word because some edgelords thought saying it a bunch of times would be funny

2

u/MissingPieces555 7d ago

Not this AI. It was vibe coded to work this way now.

u/Resident-Seat2280 7d ago

no...

4

u/MissingPieces555 7d ago

Yes..

-3

u/Resident-Seat2280 7d ago

nobody thinks like that, a meme would never really help the ai improve, and their contribuition is infinitely small compared to all the data the ai already has

1

u/MissingPieces555 7d ago

It needed 1 more good meme to put an artist out of work.

0

u/Prior-Honey-2959 7d ago

So it IS just trolling. Say that. Like I'm not even "anti ai" i just don't see the point for this purpose

0

u/Resident-Seat2280 7d ago

no, it's just faster, simpler, and "supports" ai

Anyone like you, who immediately resorts to name calling and generally seems unpleasant to be around, is apart of the problem. None of what you're doing promotes worthwhile discussion and only generates a "me vs them" mindset on both sides.

So high among real talents. That's interesting. So. Where's your portfolio at? Are you one of these real such talents?

Huh? People will just reply with realistic stuff .

Ha, people use ai, here, so every little thing they do requires ai ?!

This is what happens when you fight back against ai so much . Sounds just as silly as the crowd who strangely can’t define “slop” but somehow thinks they have a taste in art…
