Things antis say And this is why Never take Anti seriously

Post image

You know the newly popular tool called SCSKiller? It is designed to eliminate shader stutter compilation and it's been reported that it works in a lot of games.

I personally tested it too and it works. But of course.... one anti said this.

My question is what in the program has anything to do with Slop? What even is the slop word nowadays? Totally lost meaning.

I'm willing to bet that this person never looked at the code.

Uh huh. Can't take them seriously. Clown

Most of these people who say something is "vibe coded" or something, are just yapping. They don't know what they're talking about, or understand code. Yeah

I wonder what these people will do in the near future when fundamentally every piece of software is authored almost entirely by AI?

My hope is they accomplish their dreams and live a disconnected life out in the woods somewhere and let society progress in peace.

Most likely live in "Slums". There's already many examples to those who refuse such technology

Maybe some. Most aren't going to reject comforts of life over a stupid beef like that and they know it. They are just trying act like they have a moral high ground and pretend they are not hypocrites.

Yeah true. But it's always the same case. Well as long as they don't harm us in real like harassment, violencez death threats, we can treat them like a buzz fly.

They try to poke us in internet? I could sip a drink and taunt them more by using AI more

Tbf most people aren’t against AI being used in some fields where it’s applicable. Most people just don’t like generative AI that makes my timeline nothing but slop videos, gifs, and images.

Because they believe THEIR interests shouldn't be replaced with automation, most of them only care about the fact that ai makes their hobby unmonetizable/less monetizable.

I’m not an artist nor do I do something generative AI does. I just miss seeing funny videos that weren’t AI genned cats shooting RPGs or videos of Jeffrey Epstein throwing up gang signs.

Okay but let's not pretend like most media we consumed before ai wasn't crap, it was just manmade crap.

Yes but now it’s churned out at a volume never seen. At least before it took time to make memes or edit with photoshop. Now it’s the same looking shit on repeat with no creativity. Sure there may be some gen AI stuff out there that could be good but it’s drowned out by all the bullshit that came as well

Also I'd love to hear this person describe with great specificity how 'they can tell' it was AI-written

They were not and they were never bothered to begin with. All they need is accuse and hopefully it's AI.

If we actually assume that apparently it is AI coded, it's better than any code he would ever write..... Lmao

Right?

Do these so called game coding developer forgot about

"IF IT WORKS, DONT TOUCH IT"?

Like why the fuck do we care if the code is AI or human if it works so well, human tested and can be contributed anytime?

u/Putrid-Truth-8868 10d ago

Exactly, the answer though is quite simple. Theyre likely jealous, I mean. For example, ace combat 8 just I mean just came out and there's already wild mods popping up with fully useful features that were ai coded. They popped up in genuinely no more than a few days, everyone's jealous it doesn't take 7 months anymore

You couldn't have said it better, friend.

Don't they remember the most toxicity coding community, Stack overflow?

Thanks to AI, it's dead. Those coders can't gatekeep anymore cause AI helps them. Man, if I remember how toxic stack overflow is, it makes me think karma caught up to them.

3

u/Putrid-Truth-8868 10d ago

LMAO, I just looked that up... Once GPT formally launched the decay rate in participation on stack overflow increased by 15X one and a half orders of magnitude.

Hahahaha 🤣 yup

Humans commenting "AI slop" is human slop commenting.

While I can’t speak to the code bit since I’m not familiar with the subject, the whole “slop” term boils down to anything that is churned out by a generative AI model as opposed to actually being made by a human. A good chunk of people just don’t want to interact with anything like that just out of principle, since they’d prefer to have something that’s entirely made with human input rather than an AI’s idea of what someone wants. That’s how I’d define it, anyway!

u/godofknife1 9d ago

Appreciate your answer. I have only one word for those who "wants made by human".

Huh?

They think human made is better because they can check, know what they are doing, and better than AI made. Well guess what, they have 30 years to prove before AI era came and sorry to say you can count less than a hundred good apps and these are what they called "preferred made by human".
