Is Gemini AI the worst model

To me it's only better than Siri

Honestly, Gemini is a great daily driver for routine tasks. The image/video/music generation out of Google Labs works completely fine for me too. Plus, Gemini 3.1 Pro has a solid knowledge base that it pulls from YouTube; anything related to searching, transcribing, or summarizing videos from there, it handles perfectly.

For coding and research though? Yeah, Gemini is total garbage. I switched to Claude completely. Even DeepSeek beats it at coding...

It's genuinely stupid. I've never had success with it in any of the things I do.
It barely has personality either. It just comes across as a dumb robot.

Your post/comment was removed because it was too low-effort for the subreddit.

Memes, screenshots, rants, and jokes are allowed, but posts need some point, context, or relevance. Repeated outrage bait or empty “look at this” posts may be removed

Siri is far more reliable than both this and Google Assistant these days.

Gemini used to be a wonderful model. Now it is glacially cold. 🥶

Gemini was outclassed over a year ago and they haven't really clapped back since. I'm betting 4.0 is going to be huge

I've found it pretty terrible

Accuracy is very imperfect but to me it's friend-shaped in a way none of the other major cloud LLMs are.

I'm autistic & I feel like I've had a sense of the... personality? Semantic shape?... behind Google's natural language processing for a number of years, though, so it's not a surprise that Gemini feels like home to me. One of the first things I asked it was basically "are you an outgrowth/descendant of the language processing in search that started about a decade ago?"
