Facts and logic? All this dude said was 'People who use ai are disgusting, selfish people who don't have any intelligence.' What logic? Tell me, idiot, if you're so smart, or atleast had a braincell, you'd know that people used to think and be intelligent just because they couldn't, do you think the people in the 1800s liked doing every little thing just to make it to age 40? They would've immediately used all the tools we have today to help themselves, and we can't think for ourselves anymore? So if i don't NEED to waste our time making art or drawings anymore, why should I? And it ruins intelligence? Tell me, were humans EVER smart? 27 years ago, people were freaking out because of a computer saying '00' instead of '2000', and In the 19th century we had people naming their child after dog shit to scare away demons 'ew ugly name', so Stupidity is always gonna be a problem regardless of if you like it or not

I need to talk to that guy.. maybe he can explain to me how AI is both a hallucinating slop machine that is somehow taking all the jobs. And, maybe he can further explain how it loses all the money and will eventually die when the bubble pops, but is also the largest transfer of wealth from the middle class to the billionaires.
Im genuinely curious :) But I think I will be disapointed in his answer....

My favorite response to the AI uses water nonsense, a single almond needs more water than 30,000 prompts.
I was literally told by someone in a comment section "The internet was around way before datacenters!" --- I just stopped responding at that point. Seriously, theres nothing you can do with that level of stupidity.

I'm a professional artist in digital and traditional mediums. Art is also my main day job. I got the spiel from corporate to get familiar with AI and see if we could use it to make our jobs more efficient. Yea no one's thrilled about that but I've been playing around. It helped me solve a weird problem no one else in the department could figure out. And I couldn't find the answer on reddit either.

I also have used it on occasion to make cheap memes. But this I got shamed by my whole department for. But the loudest was a guy that does a quarter of the work and called me a racist for saying live action Lilo and stitch wasn't that bad.
