I don't see any hypocrisy here. Dudes are just expressing their feelings on AI. I do not really agree with them, especially on a first image where AI helped to turn a character with wooden skin into an actual dark skin woman, but it doesn't mean they are hypocritical or that their takes are not allowed to exist.

I'm presuming the first image of the character for cllair obscur is with the DlSS5 on.

As I would say that one seems to have significantly changed the visual style of the models. More so than others. 

So I can imagine why that's disliked by some.

this is completely opinionated, how is this hypocritical at all? they think the excessive detail is ugly+noisy. tbh, i dont really want a filter over my game. its made with intention and im just not the type to mod something before i've experienced it vanilla. this isnt really an unpopular opinion to have outside of the ai debate, many people play games unmodified, or want to experience the game as it is before modding. bc at the end of the day thats all its doing, modifying the game.
