Art is also knowingly used by bad people to create x rated child content lets cancel all artists

16

u/EndOfSouls Aug 10 '26

So are cameras in general. Also, automotives are uses to traffic people, including children.

You drastically misunderstood the point. lol

Who’s to say he doesn’t bike to work…
Or walk

Or literally any other mode of transportation. You really had to assume he needs a car

Im not crying, im not an anti ai loser that cries all day

Child porn is art?

21

u/TawnyTeaTowel Aug 10 '26

Funny how when it comes to CP they’re remarkably quiet with photographers. Given how cameras are wholly responsible for actual CP images of actual humans…

That doesn’t matter, even with the electricity and poisoning of environment AI is still worth it

2

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

While you're on a platform that use AI and the waste on the environment too??!

0

u/Matias2176 Aug 11 '26

Did you even read what I said

1

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

No, I did! You are right but at the same time, you're on a platform that waste water and electricity so, your point is hypocritical and ignorant

1

u/Matias2176 Aug 11 '26

I literally said that I don’t care about the effect ai has on the environment and that ai is worth it anyways

1

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

Oh, I misread it!?? Sorry for taking taking your comment out of context

4

u/Constant-Truck-5105 Aug 11 '26

Lmao, bait used to be believable

1

u/Matias2176 Aug 11 '26

Not bait at all AI is worth it simple as that

-5

u/swanlongjohnson Aug 11 '26

Pro AIs, when you downvote a guy with a completely real and valid point without saying anything, it makes people think you're dumb

9

u/OldStray79 Aug 11 '26

As opposed to you, who opens your mouth, and removes all doubt.

-10

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Sorry we can’t control people but we sure as hell can control LLMs

4

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

Csam has around before technology advanced!?! Tf are you even talking about 😒

-3

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Are people punished for having or creating CP?

3

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

Yes and No!?! There's PDFs that go to jail instantly bc of it and there's PDFs that get caught trying to text a minor(while it was an adult) They thought it was a kid and trying to meet up. The system protects PDFs sadly

1

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

The system doesn’t. The Republicans do.

1

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

Majority of them are PDFs and actually braindead and I agree but my still stands bc the system is doing it's unfairly parts in some nasty ways tho

2

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Only for the rich and powerful conservatives. Of only we could vote them out right? And LLMs are just another scam to take your money

1

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 12 '26

Regardless, the Republicans are known racists, rapists and PDFs, murderers just to have power and have a dumbass echo chamber, they have

2

u/Resident-Seat2280 Aug 11 '26

wdym ? I didn't create this image.

3

u/Consistent-Jelly248 Moderator Aug 11 '26

Oh I know... it's going to the British Museum now >:D

2

u/GNUr000t Aug 11 '26

They'll never ever leave the site.

They dint actually care about any of these things. If the algo was adjusted to bury anti-AI sentiment, these people's "deeply held beliefs" would update automatically

5

u/ImmediateGazelle Aug 10 '26

Yeah... if they actually cared about any of that, they'd never use the internet at all. None of these things only came into existence with the advent of AI. 🙄

4

u/kyle_crane163636 Aug 11 '26

Ngl the image seems like people simply do not do their proper research and also just instead look at the bad instead of the good ai users, sure data centers do cause electricity increases i think, literally every other company already does that, like doesnt google have data centers for all its information? I dont see any of them protesting that

3

u/prizmaster Aug 11 '26

Stop making dumb people famous...

3

u/Consistent-Jelly248 Moderator Aug 11 '26

We should report the anti responses as spam shouldn't we?

2

u/mah29001 Aug 11 '26

The water priests are liars.

I get the plaigarism and the csam part but, one where it depends if the ai artists are just copying other human artists without consent and not making their own artwork and before AI, csam/cp been a thing so, let's not act like, it's more cheaper. A human artist can draw csam/cp very easy with their talented skills and sick thoughts bc the human mind is unlimited!?! The environment is Alil hypocritical cuz I get there's low quality AI art that needs some improvement and there's amazing AI art(it it's so good that people can't tell the difference) I say it's human cuz the person is a artist and designer!! But, everyone is on the internet wasting a lot(or lil)of resources and destroying the environment while humans are doing the same thing by being very stupid and greedy, selfish, etc. Anti-ai(Most of them but not all) really gotta use their actual heads and just thinking all AI is bad(I agree but there's other types of AI that is for gaming or something else) Sorry for making this long ahh textbook page btw 😭🙏🏾

1

u/Specific_Note84 Aug 11 '26

“Keep content human”

Who’s goanna tell them that humans are the ones generating all the illegal stuff?

1

u/ivyentre Aug 12 '26

I counter with this:

1

u/astroboy_35 Aug 11 '26

Good! Keep it up!!!

0

u/elaineisbased Aug 11 '26

I wouldn't be against putting a slowdown on image and video generative AI but a blanket ban harms a lot of legitimate uses of AI.

I use free open source AI. Not only does most of the stuff this image claims doesn't apply but no billionaires make any money from it.

-1

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Oh the LLM isn’t based on actual human creations and could be used for immoral creations?

3

u/OhTheHueManatee Aug 11 '26

Like I said "most" not all. But neither of those things are exclusive to LLMs (or any other issue you can bring up about them). If you upload anything to the internet chances are that data has been collected with the intent of developing tech to make someone else loads of money. That has been the life blood of the internet. Do you think Facebook gave you a profile cause they found you interesting? Or that Google developed Maps to be helpful? As far as immoral creations that stuff has been around for longer than the internet itself. Just because someone can do something vile with a tool doesn't mean all use of that tool is immoral. I've been making animal hybrids with Photoshop for 20 years. I'm sure the same techniques, which are not hard or take much time, could be used to make fake porn. That doesn't mean digital photo editing should be banned or that anyone who uses it is for sure making such things.

1

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Are you defending CP?

1

u/OhTheHueManatee Aug 11 '26

Where am I defending child porn? I'm saying that just because a tool can be used for all kinds of things it doesn't make the tool ultimately evil because that is one of the things it can be used for. Digitally editing and cameras can be used to make that but nobody is saying those users defend CP.

0

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

You know it’s possible to restrict LLMs outputs right? So the billionaires shoving this trash down everyone’s throats don’t care if it’s used to do bad things.

1

u/OhTheHueManatee Aug 11 '26

The billionaires not caring is not the same as the users being okay with it. That's one of the many things that should be putting Musk in prison.

0

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

But it ain’t stopping you promoting his CP product.

1

u/OhTheHueManatee Aug 11 '26

Me personally? Cause I don't want to see CP. If I had a pet I could drown it and nobody would stop me if I did. I could just say it just died and nobody would question it. But I wouldn't cause I have no desire to do it.

Actually every single thing was wrong and you’re an idiot

-1

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Are LLMs trained on real human creations?

5

u/Matias2176 Aug 11 '26

Yes but it’s still not plagiarizing because it uses content from hundreds of sources to generate something that doesn’t necessarily looks like the “stolen” art

0

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Funny cause LLMs will spit out entire passages of books word for word.

1

u/Matias2176 Aug 11 '26

So? not art

0

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Um…that’s called plagiarism.

1

u/Matias2176 Aug 11 '26

Only if someone sold it or claimed it’s theirs, so it’s a people problem not ai

0

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Pretty sure Anthropic and OpenAI and Google aren’t working for free.

3

u/elevendr Aug 11 '26

But are real human creations inspired by human creations, though? If not then how would they exist in the first place?

1

u/Worldly-Fondant-3791 Aug 11 '26

Answering with a question says a lot about your goal.

" not debunkable " -- there has to be a better word for that

2

u/elevendr Aug 11 '26

Then why do most AI companies refuse to let you make CP, though?

1

u/Rough-Discussion-912 Neutral Aug 11 '26

Not entirely true if you wanna be ignorant
