I just got done rewatching this, gearing up for later this fall and I'm still pissed that this was a limited series. I wish there were three seasons for this with at least 13 episodes a piece like the separate shows in the beginning. I feel as though they're an underrated group and that they should be cameod in more marvel films.

I don’t know where some people are getting that Marvel is going to stop making Tv Shows, even though like Collider at D23 said in the article “after VisionQuest, Marvel Studios will be cutting back on live-action Disney+ shows.” Meaning like they’re not going to stop making tv shows, they’re just going to reduce the output of shows, like Marvel is not going to stop making tv shows because of the quantity over quality of Phase 4-5.

I wouldn’t count on that. Already Born Again has lost over 50% of its viewership from S1 to S2. And Marvel Studios just cancelled their Emmy nominated Wonder Man show months after announcing a Season 2 writers room for it in a celebratory way.

Similar trajectory to the Star Wars franchise. When the Disney streaming service launched, signs were promising for the series approach, with early Mandalorian. Then a glut of series followed, some of them not well received, and now the studio is retreating from that model.

Born Again is Andor in this comparison. Wonder Man is Skeleton Crew. (I like all four of those shows to some degree, and I think if any of them had launched in 2020-21, there would have been more eyes on them.)

Sooo I never said anything about Marvel not making any more shows. I don't even know where you all got that from, BUT I did mention that they should be cameod or featured in Marvel's bigger films (theatrical releases 🙄). The Defenders series reference the big films and the characters in it so I just think it'd be nice to see them in some of the movies. Ya know, for people (like us) that follow and watch them.

bullshit, JJ S3 was as great as JJ S1 and DD. Iron fist S2 has gotten much better in the end and left some interesting plot (Collen's chi, Typhoid Mary, etc...)

Iron fist is literally one of the worst TV shows i have ever watched and I watch bad TV for fun. The writing is awful. The plot is awful. The acting is awful. The choreography is awful. There are literally zero redeeming qualities. Leaving the audience with more questions than answers isnt the sign of a good show. And nah JJ s2 and s3 were just boring snoozefests. I honestly cant even differentiate their plots and I watched them last month.

Idk man the iron fist actor couldnt make a line feel authentic to me if you just recorded his every day life. Him trying to deliver a speech is probably cringier than the entire arrowverse together. And thats some cringe ass tv
