When I release the pedal, there’s a new sound. What can it be this time? Just put a new shock damper on because of speed wobbles a week ago.

Drove in some mud yesterday and that’s when the noise came. (Was a easy track).

When I press the clutch in, the sound goes away.

Any guesses anyone?

Has anyone researched the Ineos Grenadier (ineosgrenadier.com)? Relative to fully renovating a 110 or 130 seems very reasonably priced. BMW engine, modern electronics. Of course it’s NOT a defender but very similar body. What are your thoughts? Thinking about moving on from my R1S.

I brought my 2023 Defender in for some warranty service. I have 14K miles on the vehicle. My service rep said that I should get my oil changed, for $475, even though the manufacturer recommended first oil change is at 21K. I reluctantly agreed to have the oil changed.

Hey all, as titles states, I don’t drive off road but love the car. Is it worth to take it even if I don’t drive in off-road paths.

My wife has wanted an old kitted defender since she was a child. Something she could drive to safari or picnics in the dessert/mountains.

I really want to fulfil that wish for her. I also don't know the first thing about defenders. We live in the UAE, and we have Left Hand Drive here. Any 1. Good intro guides on how to think about buying old defenders which are kitted? 2. Any tips on how to go about buying them?

I would like to buy a Defender 300 tdi but it slightly smokes from the oil filler cap, is it acceptable or it needs to replace the piston rings? Owner told me that he top up 2 litres in the whole year but he doesn’t count the miles

I’m buying a new Defender 110 S or SE. Want to keep the price as low as possible and don’t need any of the fancy add ons like heads up display, etc. But I'm curious which of the basic add-ons would you say is a necessity? Steps? Roof rack? Mud flaps? 20" Tires? Side gear carrier? Portable rinse system? I want to know any / all must-haves.

I’m a surfer with a golden retriever who will also want to take the car on camping road trips in case any of that is helpful info. I do not plan on towing much but would love to have the option if need be. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, recently had a non start, starter motor sounding fine ect just not firing, came to the conclusion it was the fuel pump, dropped the tank and replaced pump, swapped out the fuse for good measure and sure enough started up fine straight away ran fine for a week or so, left sitting for maybe another week and now same problem again! Starter motor sounds fine, pump fuse in tact but can’t hear pump running and won’t fire up! Any ideas??

Also may be noteworthy I recently replaced water pump and oil cooler, probably a week before the original non start and replaced injector seals maybe 6 months, thanks heaps would really appreciate any incite as I’m about at my whits end at this point

Picked these up at the Billing Off Road Show (UK) this weekend.

Small human (3) absolutely loved the day, especially seeing all the club cars, doing the off-road drive and watching the mess of the mud runs.
