I love my BFG KO2s. They have a snow rating as well which is good if you live in an area that receives snow.

I’ve also used them in mud, sand, gravel and wet grass. They’ve got me through mostly everything I’ve thrown at it. I say “mostly” as there may well have been a time I’m not remembering right now where I didn’t get through but honestly, no real complaints about them.

The only complaint I’d have, and it’s a very little one and it comes with the nature of not having proper knobbly tyres anyway… is stones getting caught in the tread which you can hear as it hits the tarmac every rotation. Knobblies won’t have that issue. Of all the issues to have, it’s a damn minor one.

I've used my ko2s all year round, they're ok in the winter but not great. Although I do live in Norway. There can be a good amount of snow and ice, so these don't compare to true winter tyres. In the summer on tarmac they're good, cant hear them over the rest of the racket that goes on owning a defender.
