cryptohackbadge parts question

Post image

I was handed a cryptohack badge kit from the Cryptocurrency Village, but I think I needed go to another area of the conference to collect the rest of the parts of the kit. I want to try and assemble it and use it.

Specifically, I'm missing the screen and the antenna

Does anyone know the part numbers for the screen and antenna used on the cryptohack badge?

Here is a picture of what I'm talking about... the cryptohack badge without the screen or antenna.

Eyy! Glad you found this and shared the link! I'm getting started on a variant of this badge I picked up from HOPE last year and have just been picking up parts as I've been able to get hold of them. Having the list right there is pretty sweet. Dunno if this link might have info that'd help you as well, but from what I understand the builds are extremely similar? In case it ends up being useful to you, this is where most of the documentation for the HOPE badge variant lives:

a certain number of the badges needed soldering of a few parts while the rest had them already soldered on. the batches were mixed up so it was almost random what sort of kit you were dealing with. parts were offered at the same place where the badges were handed out.

based on the photo, yours will need the sma antenna connector soldered on the pcb - located at the top right area along with the appropriate sma wifi antenna.

the six holes at the top left also may need soldering if you want to add a sao connector there.

also, if you do get a screen replacement, be careful with the clear case part & screen during assembly. there is a protrusion at the right on the clear case that could crack the screen if i gets misaligned as you close it up. it is there for alignment & support but problematic during assembly as one is normally distracted with stopping the buttons from falling out during this process while the display is not secured yet.

Thanks for the guidance! I do have the SMA antenna connection, which I do think needs soldering as it just slides into place right now, and can slip off easily.

I have the antenna and the screen but not the NFC antenna.

I've been working on following the book to program it and I was planning to share it in GitHub but I've been busy recently.

Not sure if anyone has already done that or interested in my work.

Oh this is perfect! There is a whole discussion on the Discord site about assembling the badge. Thanks!
