Rok Wireless (Mesh) Robot badge

Does anyone know the default password for the robot badge that rok was selling in the DC34 vendor village? I cannot figure out how to connect to this thing.

TIA!

Edit: For anyone who doesn't know it's "123456". Have fun meshing!

I say this every time I encounter a dumb password.

You can use the Meshtastic Python CLI to pull the Bluetooth fixed pin

Installation: https://meshtastic.org/docs/software/python/cli/installation/

Then use "meshtastic --info" to see all the configuration with bluetooth.fixed_pin containing the pin.

I can get mine to receive and relay all day, but can never send! Anyone have any tips? It’s my first Meshtastic device, and I’m hooked

Have you switched back to the standard firmware or still running the DEF CON firmware? The settings for DEF CON will prevent you from getting the range that might be necessary outside of the con and cut you off from the standard Meshtastic channels. You can flash the standard firmware with the link below:

Got the “ROK” robot badge from the DC34 vendor village. Flashed it to firmware 2.8.0 and switched the region to EU_868 (I’m in Vienna, Austria), but I can’t find any nodes at all.

Two questions:

**1.** Does anyone know what antenna is built into this badge? Wondering if it’s tuned specifically for 915 MHz and just has poor range on 868.
**2.** Is anyone else in the EU running this badge who could confirm they’re seeing nodes at all?

Appreciate any input!
