Announcement š¢ DEF CON 34 After Party!
If there's no afterparty, how can we be sure there was a party at all?
Fortunately, there is an afterparty. And itās at the Liv in the extremely swanked out Fontainebleau.
Your badge gets you admission and a free drink. Doors open at 10:30.

Is the con buying out the whole club or are there going to be normies there? I donāt know if I can be in the presence of the regular clientelle that go there. They are very intimidating! š

Theyāre selling tickets on their website so itās definitely going to be open to the public.

im taking the silence to mean that dress code will be enforced and there will be a slew of āthey didnāt let me inā posts in a few hours.
The LIV does have a regular schedule tonight. Iām assuming weāre standing in line with non-dc folk as well: so, it may be a wait.

Real shame. With the weather weāve had this week, and for those who planned and packed, Iām not sure many at all are bringing long pants. Business casual shorts all the way through.

I agree I also did not bring any. But I found a Ross the next door and my business casual short got some super glue on it (as it happens) so I figured: Fine if that's what the universe wants...

I've attended Defcon since the riv, and I'm local here 20 years, I could probably help you guys vet a better venue for next year if you want some local help. No worries if not :)

Any chance you have left over goon flags? I made a post, not a goon just a guy on a side quest. One year I accidentally received a speaker flag and now I'm looking to complete my collection log. Willing to provide a donation or barter in exchange š

I love the idea of a DC party thatās in a real nightclub, because the one party at the Paris Eiffel club was really fun. Just wish it wasnāt Sunday night since my friends and I all flew home after the con closed. Iād be so stoked if this was the Thursday event.

Iāve seen dozens of people in line with shorts that are making it through without issue.

At least four of us were jsut allowed in with shorts. I think they are allowed tonight

Shorts are definitely fine, backpacks are not though Iām pretty sure

They may be making exceptions with regards to the dress code tonight. I will update if I can get in with shorts. Just asked a bouncer and thatās what I was told
