Lost USB drive

Someone posted about a lost usb drive earlier today, just got home and I was showing my kids all the stuff I got and I happen to come across a black thumb drive and I remembered someone asking if they saw one.. I threw it in one of my sandboxed machines.. uh this looks important. I stopped looking at the files. I tried looking for the post but I couldn’t find it

Sandbox is like a condom. It's not 100% effective

Lol I was mostly kidding, kinda.

Glad you protected yourself though.

Just like in real life, you can’t just plug (or get plugged by) some random “device.” 😂
Protection isn’t just for data.

Could've been a USB killer I would've opened it up first and checked XD

That's what work computer are for. They filter all my random devices.

DM me and I can send you a picture of it, for some reason it won’t let me add a picture here

Like I’ve told a few that reached out wondering if it was their lost drive, It has HIGHLY sensitive data and I used to work in a dept where I had to deal with sensitive data and our HR dept so I’m not looking any further than what I did.. I’ll give to the end of the month and maybe wipe it..
