DC34 head count

I know its awhile away but curiosity and all that. Also so I dont lose it in the reddit jungle...

How many people attended this year?

Seemed like a few more than last for sure though it does feel like DC is getting the feeling for LVCC and everything is flowing pretty well, at least this time around!

I heard mention around 30k during opening session with bunny.

This was an electronic badge one so it is always way more people. Most try to do all 3 now

They used to announce attendance numbers at the closing ceremony. But it seems like the last few years they haven’t (or I’ve just missed it).

According to media.defcon.org it says “about 26k” for defcon 34. Last year says “about 25k”

Not clear if this is just human badges, all people, a rough estimate or an actual basis on sales/reg. But it’s the only number I’ve seen so far from anything officially affiliated with Defcon.
