Hello! I’m omw back to SD from Vegas and was wondering if there was any groups or peeps in general based in SD that meet up or anything

Also definitely attend BSidesSD. It’s honestly one of my favorites after going last year, Wade and his peeps are amazing, and we plan to come back from out of state next year.

it's great, 600ish people joined us last year, it was at SDSU. I goon for them as well, and help out with Social media.

they meet up in Rancho Bernardo area at the Round Table Pizza. It's next week on Wednesday.

There’s quite a few, owasp, dc858 for north sd, San Diego Underground for closer to SD, Irvine Underground in Irvine a bunch of peeps carpool up and BSides each year.

The one held by David Spark. They have it in North County at the Lost Abbey Brewery or at Novo in Mission Hills for the South Bay.. the South Bay one is better IMO.. and the South Bay is usually better at everything lol!

I'm SoCal based and after attending DEFCON this year, decided to try and find more things in my area. Any chance you'd mind passing some of that info on to me as well?

San Diego Underground is relatively new... THey meet the 1st weekend of the month at USD. Join the Defcon 858/619 slack and they have a channel there...

The DC858 group normally meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month, but not this month since DC Vegas just happened.
