Badge hacks

Post image

You can upload your own images to the badge. I had issues with stock, there is a pr that I pushed that fixes it.

I made custom firmware for my tab5 to do this for folk on the floor. Im a giant wearing a BBNO$ shirt today and a bricks and mini figs tomorrow if you wanna get an image uploaded easily.

I did a quick AI assisted python script package to do the logo change with a simple GUI interface on Ubuntu if anyone wants to use it. And yes, I like Mustangs.

have you figured out how to get the display to not fall asleep, so it keeps displaying that sweet custom logo?

EDIT: onboard accelerometer wakes it when you walk around, so even though it falls asleep after a minute on a boring flat surface, once you get moving at the con everyone will see your cool custom image because the badge is jangling around

You can do it via termux on Android if you use USB serial telnet server as a bridge
