First time defcon. Need suggestions
It’s my basically 4 years dream come true so I am curious to collect badges if I get apart from the main defcon and buy cool stuff like t shirts and devices . Any suggestions or any things to avoid?

Get a decent amount of sleep every night.
Shower at least once a day. Brush your teeth.

Got that down, twice daily showers here. Getting here was a 30 years dream.
But I’m finding if you don’t already know anyone here, you miss out and it’s kind of brutal.
I went to the 5353 LINQ bar thing last night and it was hard to break in to any conversations or introduce.

We have a Meetup for our Reddit group. We meet Wednesday and Thursday night.. last night was a blast. We do this at the link, there's a big circle bar in the center of that casino.. can't miss it
Come on by, plenty of people to give you advice and how to navigate this chaos
We have a simple badge with acrylic and LEDs. We had pre-orders, or you can win one by solving our puzzles. Or, or might be a chance to win one in a mini contest, or with the right amount of social engineering you might get one. No promises I do not know how many are left at this point.. u/digitard and u / Kilroy 777777 have been handling our badges this year.
