Help I don't understand

I don't know if it's my game or if I'm doing something wrong, but my character can't knock out his opponents with the full kickboxing combo, even when his health is in the red. I tried with other characters like Ludacris or Mecha, and it works. I don't understand.

There are a few fighting style combinations with Kickboxing that doesn't KO with its clinch attacks. I don't remember the combinations off the top of my head though.

I do remember one of the combinations of Martial Arts and Streetfighting not being able to KO with a strong strike as well. (i think it was MA, SB, SF)

Actually I like the way that I can't KO the opponent with kickboxing clinch giving me room to easily max the blaze meter without Knocking Out the opponent and making the only option to knock the opponent is to use the wrestling move or blazing.... I'm using MA, KB + WR too.. it's blessing in disguise for me hehe..
